The Putnam County Community Band (PCCB) is a volunteer organization and is dependent on community support and funding. It is also supported by well-known community leaders: veteran directors Bill Turnbull, Dr. Dale Blackwell, Mike Eberle, David Vazzetti, Ethel Parnell, Corbin Armstrong, PCCB president Leonard Alterman and Palatka High School, which donates its band room once a week for community band rehearsals.

The Putnam County Community Band performs music from patriotic marches and movie themes to symphonic as well as other popular arrangements for concert band. 

The Putnam County Community Band & Music lessons, Inc. student bands will perform at such events as: The Palatka Blue Crab Festival, Ravine Gardens, Special Concerts and other Putnam County community events.

Based in Palatka, The Putnam County Community Band rehearses at Palatka High School Monday evenings from 7:00PM to 8:30PM.

The Putnam County Community Band is now recruiting new members who play Brass, Woodwind or Percussion instruments.
